Road cycling has something for everyone… If you’ve considered road racing but don’t have the confidence or knowledge, then this course is for you.Eastern Cycling Club (ECC) is running a 4 week introductory course that provides all participants with the necessary skills and confidence to compete in your first road cycling race.

This course is aimed at Female road cyclists over 30 years of age and Male road cyclists over 35 with reasonable road cycling skills.

The March meeting is the Annual General Meeting of the Eastern Cycling Club, see home page for details.
Come along, see how your club is run. Have your say, contribute to the what we do and the way we do it. Meeting is open to all financial members and all attendees are eligible to vote on matters brought before the committee.
If you wish to have an issue discussed let the secretary know the Thursday before the meeting to have it included on the agenda or bring it along on the night.
23/8/2014 – Rob Graham memorial Time Trial – Seymour
A true test to honour a great clubman.
A 25 kilometre race against the clock, this is two races in one;
- Rob Graham memorial Time Trial
A handicap, every entrant is assigned a handicap time which is deducted from their ride time to determine their place.
This ensures all members have a chance at winning the race - EVCC Time Trial championship
Age based championships – 5 year age groups, based on actual ride time, all place getters receive championship medals.
14/6/2014 – Royce Bennett handicap – Seymour
We’re back out at Seymour for this memorial race in memory of a great clubman.
Being a handicap this is a pre-entry race, entries to the handicapper the Tuesday prior to the race – 10/6/2014.

25/10/2015 – Club Championships, Seymour
This year it is a flat Club Road Race Championship, Seymour-Avenel and back twice.
Racing is in five-year age groups; 35-39, 40-44, etc. There are medals for top three in all age groups, entry is free you just need to qualify – qualification is a minimum of three club races in the current road season – May – October, Wednesday morning races count as club races.
